“Pretty, Dirty” is a southern rock and soul (motown, stax records) inspired song. As with the single “Thats Not Me” it was released individually due to it not fitting on the album they were working on.

Originally this surfaced as a demo recorded by guitarist Mikey Krause from September of 2019. The demo had Mikey playing all the instruments. After the “What’ve We Done?” album, upon working on new material Liam had recalled that demo. The demo had a similar feel to “Unspoken” which was a favorite of the bands.

The only thing not written by Mikey was the bridge, which Liam wrote the music and lyrics to, in order to add a climax to the song.

Mikey describes the song as being a love song, with obvious themes of heartbreak.

This song is Kruiser’s tribute to 70’s funk music. When bassist Aiden Heuser joined the band, their love of funk took more of a center stage than before. When recording the song, they wanted to take what they did on “Misadventure” from their second album, but make it more funk rather than rock.

It was released as a stand alone single due to it not fitting well with other songs they were writing at the time.

The song is about literally nothing. When Liam wrote the lyrics the goal was to capture the vibe rather than tell a story.

"Never Again" is an outtake from the bands second album "What've We Done?"

This is the second song Mikey and Liam ever wrote together. It was written at their friends house in 2016. Musically it is inspired by Thin Lizzy. The lyrics are written about traveling to the west coast and playing music.
